I built a tiny $5 guitar amp… and it actually sounds ridiculously good.

It’s a ¼ watt LM386 amp that runs on a 9V - 18V, but through a proper 8-16 ohm speaker it gets surprisingly close to the feel of my Dumble-style amp.

Sometimes the simplest circuits are the most fun.
