Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on something special.

Introducing Orbit β€” the newest blend added to our range, crafted using our new Fairtrade and organic beans sourced from Mexico, alongside Colombian and Ethiopian origins. Thoughtfully developed, tested, and perfected to create a blend we’re proud to share.

Artisan roasted in small batches right here in our Lake Tekapo roastery by John and Martina (as always).

Orbit is a carefully crafted medium roast with a silky, rounded body. Expect layered notes of milk chocolate and caramel, lifted by a subtle hint of ripe fruit and finished with a refined, clean finish. Elegant, balanced, and effortlessly versatile β€” designed for a truly exceptional daily cup. β˜•οΈ

John is the face you’ll see at the cart, while together they’re roasting, blending each batch, preparing stamped cups, packing and fulfilling orders, managing online orders, delivering, keeping on top of stock, and doing all the little things that keep Southern Sky Roasters running day to day (the list could go onπŸ˜…β€¦)

It’s early mornings, late nights, and everything in between - all to make sure every cup you get is made with care and intention.
