During the 2nd Philippine Parks Congress held in New Clark City, I emphasized the necessity and benefits of having open spaces and parks, especially in enriching the quality of life of city dwellers; addressing pollution; and providing economic opportunities. Specifically, I discussed the efforts of The BCDA Group to ensure that parks and open spaces become an integral part of our newest development, New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac.

We thank the National Parks Development Committee led by my daughter, Executive Director Cecille Lorenzana-Romero, for organizing a meaningful event that advocates for sustainable public spaces in the country. Congratulations!
