In December, Kaulayanan Elementary School was tragically damaged by a fire, disrupting the learning of 177 students and 8 teachers in Sitio Kaulayanan, Talakag.
Today, children are holding classes in a makeshift common area—mixed grade levels, improvised walls, and little to no protection from wind or rain. When the weather turns bad, classes stop and students get wet. Teachers, too, continue to do their best under very difficult conditions.
We are calling on the public to help us support this community—one that has long been a jump-off point for climbs to Mount Kalatungan.
You can be part of this movement by donating:
• Cash (for the school supplies, wellness kit, logistics, etc.)
You maye send to Kiana Jane Aseniero

• Bags (old/new)
Beyond social responsibility, this initiative is sentimental. Sitio Kaulayanan has long been one of the traditional jump-off points for climbs to Mount Kalatungan in the 80s and 90s.
