The plan layout integrates uni- and multi-directional circulation to create clear movement and excitement. Exhibits are arranged to maintain visual interest while ensuring proper water management and minimal environmental disturbance. The building is harmoniously integrated into the landscape, optimized for natural light, ventilation, and surrounding views.

Efficient site planning provides smooth vehicular and pedestrian access. Universal design principles ensure accessibility, comfort, and flexibility for all users.

"A Proposed 10-Storey Garden Hotel"

The Garden Hotel is a luxury, eco-responsive destination designed as a refined “home away from home,” seamlessly integrating nature, comfort, and operational efficiency. The planning ensures smooth vehicular and pedestrian circulation.

Optimized building orientation enhances natural light, ventilation, privacy, and views. Skylights reduce energy use, angled balconies improve airflow and minimize glare, and integrated water features enhance thermal comfort. Active amenities, including a sea-facing infinity pool, are strategically zoned to preserve privacy and flow.

Curvilinear forms create a soothing spatial experience, while open green spaces support stormwater management, biodiversity, and recreation. Security is strengthened through natural surveillance and clear public and private zoning.

Overall, the design achieves a cohesive integration of luxury, sustainability, and functionality, establishing a distinctive hospitality environment that enhances guest satisfaction and supports long -term operational excellence.

If you love Barcelona for its buildings… this is your year.

UNESCO has officially named Barcelona the World Capital of Architecture 2026 — and the city is celebrating in a big way.

This isn’t random timing.

2026 marks:

100 years since the death of Antoni Gaudí

150 years since the death of Ildefons Cerdà, the man who designed the Eixample grid

Two of the most important figures who shaped the city’s look and layout.

But this isn’t just about Gaudí.

Over 1,500 events are planned across all 10 districts — from exhibitions and walking tours to workshops and urban design talks. The idea is to explore not just the famous landmarks, but how Barcelona works as a city: its public spaces, its neighborhoods, its approach to climate, density, and design.

There will also be a massive 11-by-9 meter city model installed at the Casa de la Arquitectura, letting visitors see Barcelona’s past, present, and future in one place.

And yes — the nine UNESCO World Heritage buildings, including Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, will be illuminated to mark the celebration.

Barcelona isn’t just beautiful.

It’s one of the most studied urban designs in the world.
