RATIONALE:
This Page is created to celebrate the inclusion of the Immaculate Conception Parish of Penaplata, in the Archdiocese of Davao, as one of the Jubilee Churches in celebration of the 500 Years of Christianity in the Philippines. This Page also aims to provide official information about the Parish, its historical evolution as it celebrates the 2021 Year of Missio Ad Gentes – so that parish
ioners and would-be Jubilee pilgrims (who would be coming to this Jubilee site) would come to better appreciate the birth of the Parish, the gains and pains of its parishioners as they journeyed together as ecclesial community of Catholic Faithfuls in this Isla nga Maanyag, over the past seven (7) decades since its canonical establishment in 1952. May this Page also usher all of us into sustained growth in faith, hope, and love, and in the wisdom of Our Triune God. To God be all the glory!!!
