Day 2 at ITCN Asia 2026, and this conversation at the Texitech booth was worth sharing.

Spoke with Hammad Ur Rehman, Manager Sales & Operations at Texitech, about Pakistan's shift toward a paperless future. His view: the world has already moved — the UK, the US, even India run largely digital, while Pakistan still has ground to cover. Beyond convenience, there's an environmental case too — Pakistan has one of the highest deforestation rates globally, and cutting paper use is part of the solution.

Texitech's portfolio backs that vision: MSI, Lenovo, Adobe, Ricoh, Alcatel IP telephony, Wacom, and their own AI-driven document management system, alongside global platforms like M-Files — 15+ international brands, all centered on digital transformation.

His closing thought: Pakistan's IT exports keep growing even as the broader economy struggles — a sign of where the country's real potential lies.
