سیمنٹ کی شیلف لائف — مختصر وضاحت
Shelf Life — Brief Explanation

سیمنٹ کی معیاری شیلف لائف 3 ماہ ہوتی ہے (تاریخِ تیاری سے)۔

درست اسٹوریج کے ساتھ سیمنٹ 6 ماہ تک رکھا جا سکتا ہے، مگر اس کی مضبوطی آہستہ آہستہ کم ہوتی جاتی ہے۔

مضبوطی میں کمی:
3 ماہ بعد: تقریباً 20٪ کمی
6 ماہ بعد: تقریباً 30٪ کمی
12 ماہ بعد: 40–50٪ کمی

درست اسٹوریج کے نکات:
سیمنٹ کو خشک گودام میں رکھیں۔
لکڑی کے پیلیٹس پر اسٹیک کریں۔
دیوار سے کم از کم 300 ملی میٹر دور رکھیں۔
اوپر سے پلاسٹک شیٹ سے ڈھانپیں۔
FIFO اصول اپنائیں (پہلے آیا ہوا اسٹاک پہلے استعمال کریں)۔
سائٹ ٹِپ:
ہمیشہ تاریخِ تیاری (MFG Date) چیک کریں اور گٹھلی والا سیمنٹ استعمال نہ کریں۔

دن کی اسٹرینتھ کیا ہوتی ہے؟ PSI اٹھائیس
سیمنٹ بیگ پر جو “28 Days Strength / PSI” لکھی ہوتی ہے، وہ ٹیسٹ رزلٹ ہوتا ہے۔
مطلب یہ کہ نیا اور معیاری سیمنٹ جب کنکریٹ میں استعمال ہو اور 28 دن تک کیورنگ کی جائے، تو وہ اپنی مکمل ڈیزائن اسٹرینتھ حاصل کر لیتا ہے۔
یہ سیمنٹ کی عمر (Shelf Life) نہیں ہوتی۔

3 ماہ کی شیلف لائف کیا ہے؟
شیلف لائف کا مطلب ہے کہ سیمنٹ بغیر طاقت کم ہوئے کتنے عرصے تک ذخیرہ (store) رہ سکتا ہے۔
عام طور پر سیمنٹ کی بہترین شیلف لائف 3 ماہ ہوتی ہے۔
اس کے بعد نمی اور ہوا کی وجہ سے سیمنٹ کی کوالٹی آہستہ آہستہ کم ہونا شروع ہو جاتی ہے، چاہے بیگ بند ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔

دونوں میں فرق خلاصہ میں:
28 دن = کنکریٹ کی اسٹرینتھ حاصل کرنے کا وقت
3 ماہ = سیمنٹ کو ذخیرہ رکھنے کی محفوظ مدت
اہم بات:
اگر سیمنٹ 3 ماہ سے زیادہ پرانا ہو تو وہ کنکریٹ میں تو استعمال ہو سکتا ہے، لیکن اس کی حتمی مضبوطی کم ہو سکتی ہے۔ اسی لیے ہمیشہ تاریخِ تیاری چیک کریں اور تازہ سیمنٹ استعمال کریں۔
