🚧 Surface protection during the construction of Victoria Palace with ROAD SYSTEM RS 200 panels 🏗️

During the construction of Victoria Palace at Vítězné náměstí in the centre of Prague 6, ROAD SYSTEM RS 200 road panels were used to protect the granite surface around the building and distribute the load of machines working on the façade installation.

We are proud to announce that our ROAD SYSTEM panels have been awarded an EPD certificate (ref. no. 2025-0083-2), confirming compliance with EN 15804+A2:2019.

What does this mean in practice?
It means full transparency regarding the environmental impact of our products throughout their entire life cycle – from raw material sourcing (including recycled materials), through production, to the possibility of being recycled again.

Project entitled “Improving the energy efficiency of GEOPRODUCT BBG Sp. z o.o. through the purchase of an innovative photovoltaic installation” is implemented under the European Funds for Wielkopolska 2021–2027 programme, Priority 2 “European Funds for a Green Wielkopolska”, Measure 2.3 Development of Renewable Energy Sources (RES).

The objective of the project is to increase the energy efficiency of the enterprise through the construction of a 0.5 MW photovoltaic installation, which will enable the production of electricity from renewable sources. The investment will contribute to reducing electricity consumption from the grid, lowering operating costs and reducing CO₂ emissions.

The scope of the project includes the design, construction and commissioning of the photovoltaic installation, as well as information and promotional activities aimed at encouraging the use of renewable energy sources.

The implementation of the project will make it possible to:

produce approx. 553 MWh of energy per year,
reduce the demand for electricity from the grid by approx. 14%,
reduce CO₂ emissions and improve the energy efficiency of the enterprise.

The project is addressed to the following target groups:

GEOPRODUCT BBG Sp. z o.o. – as the direct beneficiary of the investment, which will increase its energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Employees of the company – through improved stability of the company’s operations and information and educational activities in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
The local community – the Municipality of Środa Wielkopolska and the surrounding area – through the reduction of CO₂ emissions, improvement of the natural environment and activities aimed at increasing environmental awareness.
Contractors and business partners – who will indirectly benefit from cooperation with a company implementing solutions in the field of sustainable development and renewable energy sources.

The project is implemented in the period from 1 February 2025 to 30 November 2026.

Total value of the project: PLN 1,350,540.00
Co-financing from European Funds: PLN 715,600.00

🚧 Protecting historic cobblestone pavement with ROAD SYSTEM RS 200 XL panels 🏗️

Work involving heavy equipment on hardened yet sensitive surfaces requires proper ground protection. In this project, ROAD SYSTEM RS 200 XL road panels were used as a base for a crane in order to effectively protect the historic cobblestone pavement from damage.

Thanks to the use of RS 200 XL panels, the work could be carried out safely without disturbing the cobblestone surface. The panels provided stable support for the crane while distributing the load and reducing the risk of damage to the valuable pavement.
