Secret Picture Tealight Lamp with 10 hidden designs, created by UrSafeWithMe on MakerWorld.

The lamp uses two black discs filled with tiny windows arranged in a grid. Each disc looks like random noise on its own, but when the patterns align correctly, light passes through selected areas and reveals the hidden image.

Turn the cap a few degrees and the image disappears back into the static.

Spindle is a rotary desk organizer designed by Sebastian Kupper (). The entire organizer is 3D printed including the bearings so no additional hardware is required.

It features three compartments for pens, scissors and other desk accessories. TPU feet and cushions provide extra grip and a more refined feel while the fully 3D-printed bearing system allows the organizer to rotate smoothly.

A box prototype using a Jitterbug linkage mechanism made by X: Robo_akira

The main components are 3D printed while the joints use screws and Duracon bushings. The next step is adding a servo motor to automate the back-and-forth movement. Since the mechanism only needs to move in two directions a single servo should be enough.

5-Axis 3D Printer made by Philip ()

This custom 5-axis 3D printer is mechanically pretty solid but calibrating the kinematics correctly and generating the G-code are still major challenges.

This is one of the first prints from the 5X build. The kinematics are still far from perfect and there is no heated bed yet but the project is slowly making progress.
