Yesterday the Swedish king visited our axe making shop!! 💥🥳💥🥳💥🥳💥🥳💥🥳💥 It was a big honor and we had a great time. Many laughs and he asked good questions. David, Albin and Molly showed different steps in our axe making and I showed my secret prototypes and taught him some carving!! He visited us because I got a valuebased leadership scholarship from him 2013 and now he wanted to revisit and see how it went. I was super proud to tell him about all that have happened, and part of it is definitely because of the uppmuntran from the scholarship 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 foto by

From axe technique workshop mini kåsa version last week!!! When I took Alex class this winter I learned a lot about axing because he showed good stuff about how to carve in a way that is gentle on the wood. If you stress the wood in wrong direction or violently it can cause cracks when the kåsa is drying. Also how to hold and think when the object is round and a little tricky to get a grip of. So I figured we should have a short workshop that focus on the axing only. And we did!! Just the fun part of kåsa making in my opinion 😂😇😍😆💪🥳💃💥💕🌞🥰😂

Shaping the end k**b 👌💪💃🌞💥🌞💃💪👌 the end k**b is my question of the heart and it affects the total feel so much!!!!!! The silhouette of the axe is of course important. David have made a jig so the shaping is super easy. I have like a rhythm that I play in my head every time. Make the same movements, like in a dance, and it works! 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
