ที่ดินผืนนี้ล้อมรอบด้วยบ้านเรือนข้างเคียงถึงสามด้าน
ทำให้ไม่มีพื้นที่โล่งกว้างสำหรับการใช้ชีวิต ความท้าทายคือการหาวิธีที่จะผสานสภาพแวดล้อมทางธรรมชาติเข้ากับความเป็นส่วนตัวโดยยังคงรักษาระยะห่างจากถนน
แทนที่จะบังคับให้บ้านมองเห็นวิวถนน เราจึงตัดสินใจสร้างโลกภายในที่ปิดล้อมด้วยการจัดวางพื้นที่นั่งเล่น รับประทานอาหาร ห้องครัว และห้องส่วนตัวไว้รอบลานบ้านผนังด้านหนึ่งของลานบ้านมีระแนงไม้แนวตั้งช่วยให้แสงและลมพัดผ่านได้ในขณะที่ยังคงความเป็นส่วนตัว การจัดวางห้องนั่งเล่นรอบลานบ้านเป็นรูปตัวยูและแบ่งพื้นที่อย่างหลวมๆทำให้แสงและลมสามารถพัดผ่านได้จากทุกส่วนของบ้านสร้างพื้นที่ที่สมาชิกในครอบครัวแต่ละคนสามารถใช้เวลาอย่างเงียบสงบในพื้นที่ของตนเองได้
ความสูงของเพดานในพื้นที่นั่งเล่น รับประทานอาหาร ห้องครัว ห้องนอน และห้องเด็กนั้นต่ำทำให้เกิดพื้นที่สงบที่มีจุดศูนย์ถ่วงต่ำในขณะที่เพลิดเพลินกับแสงสว่างจากหน้าต่างบานใหญ่ที่หันหน้าเข้าหาลานบ้าน
"เงา" ที่สงบก็มีความสำคัญเช่นกันการไล่ระดับของแสงและเงาภายในสร้างความรู้สึกถึงความลึกในพื้นที่อยู่อาศัย ลูกค้า ไว้วางใจให้เราดูแลทุกด้านของโครงการ ตั้งแต่การวางแผน การเลือกวัสดุตกแต่ง การวางแผนระบบแสง และ การออกแบบ การเลือก ใช้วัสดุที่หลากหลายและรายละเอียดเล็กๆ น้อยๆทั้งหมดถูกมอบหมายให้ผมจัดการโดยไม่ต้องมีการอธิบายมากนัก ซึ่งนี่คือผลพวงจากความสามารถในการตัดสินใจอย่างรวดเร็วของผมผมรู้สึกขอบคุณลูกค้าเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ให้โอกาสผมได้แสดงความสามารถอย่างเต็มที่

The site is surrounded by neighboring houses on three sides,
leaving nowhere to lean on for open living. The challenge was to find a way to incorporate the natural environment
while maintaining distance from the street . Rather than forcing an open view to the street, we decided to create an inward-looking world by surrounding the courtyard with the living, dining, and kitchen area and private rooms . One wall of the courtyard features vertical latticework, allowing light and breezes to pass through while maintaining privacy . By surrounding the courtyard with the living rooms in a U-shape and loosely dividing the space , the light and breeze can be felt from anywhere in the house , creating a place where each family member can spend quiet time in their own space . The ceiling heights of the living, dining, and kitchen areas, bedrooms, and children's rooms are kept low, creating a calming space with a low center of gravity. While enjoying the open light from the large windows facing the courtyard , a tranquil "shadow" was also important. The gradation of light and dark within the interior creates a sense of depth in the living space. The client entrusted us with all aspects of the project, including planning, finish selection, lighting planning, and design. The use of diverse materials and the smallest details were all left to me without much explanation, and this is the accumulation of my sensibility to make quick decisions. I am extremely grateful to the client for allowing me to freely demonstrate my abilities .
