Omega Manufacturing Limited was formed in 2014 for the purpose of manufacturing cost efficient housing systems. After many years in the construction and manufacturing sector and an increase in demand for affordable housing, it was a perfect opportunity to get started. We have been developing our products for several years, constantly trying to improve by making them stronger, and more economical.

Finally, after numerous trials, and using decades of technical and engineering knowledge, we have achieved this with great success. Our system is based on Cold rolled Galvanized Steel sections engineered to create Roofing frames, and wall panels capable of withstanding earthquakes and Hurricanes. The walls of our structures are cladded with Fiber Cement Boards or our new lightweight EPS Concrete Panels, which are load bearing. Our locally manufactured fiber cement board contain no Asbestos or bio degradable materials making them long lasting, strong and impact resistant. Omegas Fiber Cement Board is now available in Hardware stores locally and being exported abroad. We have undertaken many projects to date, ranging from low-middle income homes, office buildings, town house developments, and commercial institutional buildings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production team in various tasks such as equipment set-up, raw material preparation, cleaning of machinery/ work areas, sorting finished goods, assisting with packaging, amongst other tasks.
This is an on-site role, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Qualifications
- Any certifications would be and asset, ex MIC
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is
preferred
- Good communication, time management and problem-solving
skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
environment

Role Description
Omega Manufacturing Limited located in Arima, is currently seeking a full-time Forklift Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials to different locations within the facility.

This is an on-site role, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Qualifications
- Valid forklift operating certificate
- 5 years minimum experience in driving forklifts

- Class 4/5 license would be and asset
- Welding experience would be and asset

**Attention**

We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator to join our team.

Location:
Arima, O'meara Industrial Estate. Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Overview of Job:
Transporting of materials: Moving materials, goods, and pallets to and from vehicles/ warehouses
Loading and unloading: Loading and unloading materials from vehicles, and stacking them in assigned locations
Inspecting machinery: Performing routine maintenance on the forklift, such as checking oil and water levels, and reporting malfunctions
Relocating items: Moving items within the warehouse or factory
Identifying damages
Transport raw materials to production workstations

-Requirements-
Valid forklift license
3-5 years experience operating forklifts daily at a minimum
2 references of past employment
5 CXC passes

- Class 4 heavy T license would be and asset
