Attention: We're hiring!

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy T Delivery Driver to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for loading, securing, transporting, and offloading heavy materials, equipment, and goods to customer job sites and commercial locations safely and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation: Transport heavy goods safely using Class 4 commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and transport regulations.

Cargo Handling & Security: Oversee or assist with the loading and unloading of heavy cargo; ensure all loads are properly strapped, tarped, chained, and balanced prior to transit.

Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct daily routine vehicle checks (brakes, tires, fluids, lights, tie-downs) and log maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately.

Delivery Documentation: Obtain signed delivery notes/invoices from clients upon receipt; verify product counts and report damaged or missing cargo.

Customer Service & Communication: Serve as a professional representative at job sites and coordinate with dispatch managers regarding routes, schedule delays, or site access issues.

Non-driving days: assist team as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Licensing: Valid Class 4 Heavy T Driver’s License

Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience operating heavy commercial transport vehicles (flatbeds, multi-ton rigid trucks).

Physical Capability: Candidate must be in good physical health

Attributes: Punctual, safety-conscious, strong communication skills, and self-motivated.

Role Description
Omega Manufacturing Limited, located in Arima is currently seeking a full-time Production Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production team in various tasks such as equipment set-up, raw material preparation, cleaning of machinery/ work areas, sorting finished goods, assisting with packaging, amongst other tasks.
This is an on-site role, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Qualifications
- Any certifications would be and asset, ex MIC
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is
preferred
- Good communication, time management and problem-solving
skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
environment
