This past week in Belize marks a meaningful milestone for us at Surglasses.
We had the privilege of working with the Government of Belize and the University of Belize to introduce the ASCLEPIUS Digital Anatomy Table, as part of a collaboration supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The official handover ceremony brought together leaders across government, healthcare, and academia, including Dr. Lisa Johnson, Dean of the University of Belize School of Medicine, Dr. Vincent Palacio, President of the University of Belize, Hon. Ramon Cervantes, Minister of State in Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Julio Sabido, CEO of the Ministry of Health and Wellness, and H.E. Ambassador Amino C. Y. Chi, alongside strong representation from the next generation of medical professionals, including Faye Duquesnay, Student Body President of the UB School of Medicine.
Seeing the technology come to life through real teaching and interaction made the experience especially meaningful.
What we build is not just technology. It is a bridge that connects knowledge, people, and possibilities across borders.
Across Central America, momentum around digital healthcare continues to grow, from remote care to AI driven applications. The need is real, and so is the opportunity.
At Surglasses, we believe technology should move with purpose, reaching places where it can create lasting value.
Belize is the start of something that truly matters.
