有社團朋友說到汫水，我家在台南鹽水鎮，當真有一個「汫水里」。
鹽水，意指水是鹹的；汫水，就是水是原味的，是淡的。而地區取這種名稱，相傳起自清朝。
家鄉當年有月津港，商業繁華，故清政府有意在該地設一處官府。但為選址，起了紛爭。有人提議，各自地區，取一斗水，稱重為憑，較重者「地靈人傑」？
而後，商業區在水裡加鹽，上選了。農業區的水，是「汫水」，落選。或許當時，他們在提「鹽水」時，是不齒的，認為是狡詐之輩的，也是未可知。😄
