New Delhi → Pune → Hyderabad → Kolhapur → Chennai
a journey spanning 17 days.
For many people, India may still be an unfamiliar country. News about India often focus on various negative aspects. Undeniably, the local environment, food, and living conditions are quite different from those in Taiwan, and these were also things we were concerned about before starting our journey.
So, what made us choose to take this journey anyway?
Because opportunities never appear out of nowhere.
India has a huge domestic market. The continued growth of the automotive, motorcycle, component, and manufacturing industries is also creating strong demand for machining and tooling.
Compared with Taiwan, where the machinery manufacturing industry is already relatively mature, visiting India gave us a much deeper understanding of a manufacturing market that is rapidly growing.
Over 17 days and across five cities, we experienced firsthand a market where chaos and order coexist, and challenges and opportunities exist side by side.
In India, price may be the key to opening the door, but long-term partnerships are built on much more than price — technology, quality, and service.
This is exactly what TOPWORK continues to strive for.
From our core tool grinding and re-sharpening equipment to the development of more production-oriented machines that meet the needs of different industries, our goal is not simply to bring our machines into India. We also want our existing customers, as well as those who are still considering TOPWORK, to see our commitment to the Indian market.
The 17-day journey may have come to an end,
but TOPWORK’s journey in India never stops.
