❤️🔨 A LITTLE HEART-TO-HEART FROM SCREWY LEWIE! 🔨❤️

Well, folks… it seems the rumor mill has been working overtime, so ol' Screwy Lewie is here to tighten up a few loose screws and set the record straight!

AGUA DULCE HARDWARE IS NOT CLOSING! ❤️

Yes, Karri and I are making the move to Florida! I took a little time away to get Mrs. Lewie there safely and help her get settled. But don't you worry, I'll be back before you know it, doing what I've always done — running our little hometown hardware store!

And just so we're clear, Mrs. Lewie isn't getting rid of me that easily! 😂 I'll be holding down the fort in Agua Dulce until the store sells, and then I'll be joining her in Florida for our next chapter together. ❤️

We're OPEN, we've got new inventory coming in, and the Rusty Zipper is still going strong!

Now, let's clear up one more thing…

Yes, Agua Dulce Hardware is still for sale. But that doesn't mean we're closing our doors! We will continue to be OPEN FOR BUSINESS until a new owner takes over, whenever that may be. Until then, it's business as usual!

But here's where I need to get a little serious, friends.

For 45 years, Agua Dulce Hardware has been part of this community. We've shared stories, laughs, cups of coffee, and probably a few screws loose along the way! 😂

And while rumors may seem harmless, they're hurting a small business that's working hard to serve this town.

We need our hometown to stand behind us, not turn away from us. ❤️

Small businesses don't survive on good intentions alone. They survive when neighbors walk through the door, make a purchase, spread the word, and remind others why shopping local matters.

We’ve heard a little rumor floating around our sweet little town that because we moved to Florida, Agua Dulce Hardware has closed its doors.

WELL, NOT SO FAST, FOLKS! WE ARE STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS! 🎉

You see, Screwy Lewie had to take a little road trip to make sure Mrs. Lewie got to Florida safely and help get her settled into her new home. ❤️

But don’t you worry! He’ll be back in Agua Dulce before you know it, running the hardware store just like he always has! After all, you can’t keep Screwy Lewie away from his nuts and bolts for too long! 😂🔩

And there’s more good news!
