We are thrilled to share our recent contribution to a project in Santa Fe: a stunning 8” thick limestone hearth.

Have you ever seen a fireplace so massive that the building has to be built around it?

This monumental fireplace was recently completed for a ranch house in southern Colorado. The blocks of limestone, cut sandstone surround, petrified wood mantle, and all of the veneer stone were processed and supplied by Rocky Mountain Stone.

Due to the size of pieces involved in the construction of this fireplace, it was built before the rest of the building was erected around it.

Notice the woman (5’7” tall!) sitting on the hearth to give reference to the immense size of the monumental fireplace. Stunning!

Rocky Mountain Stone is proud to sponsor the Community Charity Golf Classic tournament, where over $150k was raised in one day to support the work of three non-profits here in Albuquerque.

The stone awards and laser etching were crafted by our artisans in the stone shop. Pictured here are Walt and Julia Arnold, who took 3rd place, and a new Audi car home that Julia won in a closest to the pin competition!

Behind-the-scene process of making an integral sink countertop!

With the ability to cut precision cuts on our state-of-the-art CNC technology and one of the most talented fabricators in the state, we created a double-integrated sink vanity for a local homeowner.

These pictures show the vanity cut out, the aprons mitered, and all the sink pieces mitered with matching veining. Each piece is meticulously assembled, the “slot” drain attached, and then finished to a high polish.
