⚠️❌MISSING❌⚠️ One of the store kitties is missing. It’s not like him to leave the property or even be outside much. He went outside early this morning to do his business and hasn’t been seen since. He’s polydactyl and answers to Thumbkin. If anyone knows where he is or has seen him, please let us know. He is very special to us here at Rexroad Supply.

As our friends and family come home for the holidays, drive real slow and look at the amount of work VOLUNTEERS have done to decorate the “Gem of the Hills.”

From the people, churches, and businesses who adopted light poles to countless spots that are beyond what we ever imagined (Santa Land at the mini park) and others; the work has been appreciated!

Most don’t want recognition. Most have done some part that is their niche for years. Joe Alderson is all flower beds Monroe. He always makes them look festive.

Pam Wigglesworth’s spots and adopted poles are tastefully charming.

The businesses have gone above and beyond to showcase their spirit too.

But one amazing thing is the pride the Aldersonians have taken to decorate their homes. All over town, even places I’ve never seen old codgers put up so much as a strand of lights!

Whether it’s a walking stroll or driving around, take time to admire the work that’s been done in our little piece of Almost Heaven.

Thank you to EVERYONE who’s done their part!

He always came in with some good laughs and dad jokes. It truly was a pleasure doing business with you, sir. Our thoughts and prayers go out to one of our own Nancy Baker as well as his family and friends during this difficult time. Rest Easy Rodger.
