Day 4 of our back deck tour: the Weber.

Weber has been the gold standard in outdoor grilling for over 70 years, and for good reason. They're known for build quality, even heat, and their signature Flavorizer bars that help cut down on flare-ups.

I've owned a Weber propane grill since I graduated college in 2001. My first one was passed down from my uncle when he upgraded. It was already more than 5 years old when I got it. I used it for years and moved it with me through 3 different homes. It was a smaller grill, so after we started a family, it was time to upgrade and pass it on again. If you take care of them, these grills are made to last. Weber warranties run up to 10 years on the Spirit line and up to 12 years on the Genesis line, and Weber stands behind them.

Today I have the Weber Genesis, and it's the grill I use the most. It's perfect for backyard cookouts, a quick batch of burgers on a weeknight, or roasting vegetables. With propane, it's low maintenance and heats up fast when you need a quick meal.

What I'd change if I bought today: Nothing. After 25 years of cooking on Webers, I'd make the same choice again.

We carry a good selection of Weber gas grills and griddles in the store, and we can order any model in the Weber line. A lot of people ask about natural gas. Yes, we can order natural gas models, usually within a couple of days, and we'll assemble and deliver it at no cost.

Day 3 of our back deck tour: the Big Green Egg.

I've had a Big Green Egg for over 10 years. Ours is a Large Egg in an acacia table, which is also our most popular Egg package at the store.

When I first bought it, I got the Egg, a cover and the upgraded nest. Every time I cooked, I needed a table nearby for my gear: seasonings, plates, meat prep. Two years ago, I added the acacia table, and I love it.

If you've never cooked on a Big Green Egg, it's a lot different from a typical propane grill. It can smoke low and slow for hours, and it gets hot enough to sear steaks and bake pizza. Part of the fun is trying different flavors. We carry over a dozen charcoals, 20+ wood chips and chunks, and a full line of EGGcessories.

What I'd change if I bought today: I'd buy the Egg and the acacia table at the same time. I'd have saved a little money and had the prep space from day one.

We're one of only a few Big Green Egg Platinum Dealers in North Atlanta, and we deliver and assemble it for free. Fall is a great time to get one. Cooler weather means more meals outside, and these grills get a lot of use this time of year.
