Off-roaders are some of the most patriotic people you'll ever meet. 🇺🇸

And the Glamis Veterans story is proof of that.

What started with 30 people grew to 80, then 280, and eventually 1,000.

All before social media and GPS made organizing a gathering in the middle of the dunes a whole lot easier.

Just a community of off-roaders coming together to honor those who served.

We sat down with Glamis Veterans at the 2026 Sand Sports Super Show to hear how it all happened.

It started with 10 veterans and 30 off-roaders. 🇺🇸

What began as a small Veterans Day ride with the Wash 13.5 group at Glamis became something much bigger.

They gathered to replace the American flag, say the Pledge of Allegiance, and recognize the veterans riding alongside them.

No big production. Just a group of duners honoring those who served.

This is where the Glamis Veterans story began.

What’s your most memorable off-road moment?
For Devin from All Dread Productions, the Oregon Whoopsie is pretty hard to beat. 😂

The car ended up upside down and stayed there overnight for 16 hours before they could get it back up the hill.

Sometimes the best stories in off-road start with, “Well… that didn’t go as planned.”
