Modeling Patch Antenna Arrays with EM.PICASSO - Learn two different methods to analyze finite-sized antenna arrays. In the first method, you assume an infinite periodic array and analyze its unit cell structure using EM.Picasso's periodic planar MoM simulator then you apply a finite-sized array factor to compute the radiation pattern of the finite-sized antenna array. In the second method, you build a finite-sized array object and excite its individual radiating elements using a finite-sized source array, and perform a full-wave planar MoM analysis of the entire physical structure.
