Our team was engaged for a project involving failing stucco and potential rotten framing. Upon removing the stucco, we discovered rotten and insufficient framing in the affected areas. At the rear of the residence, repairs were made to the compromised framing around the window, and metal trim was replaced with cedar trim. Additionally, the entire rear section of stucco was painted, and a fresh coat was applied to all Tudor trims, with cedar trims also being installed on unaffected windows. The front elevation's framing was found to be in worse condition, necessitating significant repairs. This involved removing and replacing 75% of the stucco and all cedar trims. To enhance the aesthetic and functionality, cedar siding was replaced with stucco at the top, and three vents were consolidated into one larger unit. Masonry paint and solid stain were applied accordingly. The customer was exceptionally cooperative, prompting us to install a swing for their grandchildren, which was rewarding to see the children enjoy.
