1. Action: Our philosophy on guitar action: Many different players like many different types of action on a guitar. From ultra-low action for the light-handed, deft touch, to higher action and heavier gauge strings for the blues player who is really pulling those strings, different tastes abound. We're pretty much down the middle of the road. We use light gauge D’Addario XL strings (no Chinese cheapies on it when you get it), which are nice, and really consistent. We set action for light-to-medium touch.
2. Sound / Pickups: We much prefer the sound to be “authentic”, hence, traditional single coil pickups are the way we go for us. However, we will gladly make you a guitar with any pickups on earth that you may choose. For our “stock” models, we source pickups that are MIM-grade or above. PLAY ON…! Les Brers Guitars, LLC
