Ready to refresh your outdoor furniture for the season? 🪵✨

Follow these four steps to get the best results:

Prepare the Surface: Make sure your furniture is clean and bone-dry. Remove any mold or mildew with a quality cleaner before you start.

Sand it Smooth: Use coarse sandpaper to smooth out the surface and work with the grain. If the old finish is in bad shape, you may want to use a stain remover to get down to the bare wood.

Apply Your Stain: Using a brush, apply your chosen exterior stain in the direction of the wood grain.

Wishing Parker the very best of luck! 🎓🚚

Today is a bittersweet day at Beaufort Hardware & Paint as we bid farewell to one of our own. Parker has been a staple here since April 2019, joining our team while he was still in high school. It has been an absolute joy watching him grow over the years. We’ve been lucky enough to celebrate his high school graduation, his college graduation, and even watched him cycle through three or four different trucks during his time with us!

Parker is one of those rare people who truly mastered the store—he knew how to do just about everything and could point you toward exactly what you needed, every single time. While we are definitely going to miss having him around, we are so incredibly proud of him as he heads off to Cherry Point to put his hard-earned education to use.

Thank you for everything, Parker! You are going to do great things.
