J. Lorber Company, a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating and industrial supplies is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Associate at our main distribution location in Bensalem PA. We are looking for individuals to fill our main shift (7:30AM - 4:30PM) and latter shift (10AM - 7PM).

We are looking for an associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse associates responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

- Support the Logistics Manager and the organization

- Receive and arrange shipments of material to/from branch/vendors with use of RF scanners

- Pull and staged orders from the warehouse for customers with use of RF scanners

- Load and unload trucks with material

- Operate a forklift and pallet jack

- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

Qualifications

- 2 years industry experience in wholesale plumbing, heating or industry supplies a PLUS

- Experience with RF scanners a plus

- Communication skills (oral and written)

- Judgment and decision-making ability

- Ability to operate a fork lift

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move up to 300lbs with pallet jack assistance
