Tucker sez: check your sump pump now!
We have gone 5 years with no snow pack. Now there is a thick, heavy with water, snow pack surrounding the house.
Things to do NOW before the thaw:
Check to make sure that the downspouts and leaders are connected Shovel out a water path from the downspout away from the house.
If you have a sump pump installed but it rarely needs to run it is time to see to it that it does! Grab a 5gallon bucket of water and dump it in the sump... did the pump work?

Just stating the obvious. As requested by the state, if you do not have to be on the roads... please don't. So for now the Stony Hill Hardware is closed. As things change we will post when we open.
