After 37 amazing years, Chris Taylor is retiring from Insulgard! 🎉

For nearly four decades, Chris has served as a Designer and Project Engineer, playing an instrumental role in building and strengthening our engineering team. His depth of knowledge, technical skill, and attention to detail have helped shape not only our projects, but the people behind them.

The impact of his mentorship and commitment to quality will be felt by our team for years to come.

Chris, thank you for everything you’ve given to Insulgard. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you a well-earned and fulfilling retirement!

Insulgard is exhibiting at Glass Expo 2026, the Mid-Atlantic region's premier glass industry show, hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Glass Association.

We'll be showcasing protective window, door, and glazing systems that resist ballistic, wind and impact, and forced entry threats while supporting design intent.

Whether you're designing for new construction or retrofitting an existing space, our team can help you navigate performance requirements and find the right solution.

We look forward to connecting in person next week!

Fifty years of trust, partnership, and architectural security solutions that perform when it matters most.

As we reflect on the journey, we’re deeply grateful to our customers, partners, and employees who have made it all possible.

Since our early days in a modest New Hudson pole barn, our operation has grown into the 45,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility we now call home.

From our earliest projects to today’s most complex security and storm shelter challenges, one thing has never changed: our commitment to protecting people and spaces with solutions engineered to perform.

But 50 years isn’t just a milestone.
It’s momentum for what comes next.

In 2026, we’re building forward with purpose, enhancing our capabilities and the experience we provide our clients through:

🆕 New in-demand products and expanded solutions
📏 Enhanced technical resources and tools
💻 A fully refreshed website designed to help users discover solutions and explore design possibilities (coming soon!)
👥 A growing team with deeper expertise and greater capacity

To everyone who has been part of our story, thank you.

We’re proud of where we’ve been, energized by where we’re going, and more committed than ever to raising the standard for security and storm shelter protection.

Here’s to 50 years—and everything still to come!
