It’s been quite a few days... Yesterday we said goodbye to another Williamsburg legend; One I’ve known my entire life - Dominick Siano.
He knew the meaning + importance of honesty, integrity, putting pride + quality in your work and standing behind it. These are just a few of the qualities my father saw in him over their 55 year friendship. I always enjoyed seeing Dominick, with unlit cigar in mouth, sitting with my father Manny at his desk laughing + enjoying a late afternoon scotch. That friendship + those aforementioned qualities live on for another generation, between myself + Michael; who I consider a brother. He proudly carries the torch, running the family business + earning the trust of every customer he encounters. A real neighborhood guy, through to his very core.
So long, Dominick. Please say hi to my pops. And if the path to the pearly gates needs fixing, I know they’ve got the right man for the job. 🧱🛠️❤️
In a fitting tribute, Michael’s men led the funeral procession in the work truck full of flowers from family + friends.

We had such a great time seeing everyone this past weekend we decided to do our Crest-mas Pop Up for a second weekend! We will once again be at 21st & 22nd from 2:30 - 5:30pm. Come by and have a drink, say hello and pick up some Crest merch to check off your holiday shopping list! We have lots of hats, beanies, shirts, sweatshirts and art more. With items starting as low as $15. See you this Saturday & Sunday!

🎁 This Saturday & Sunday meet us at for our first ever Crest-mas Pop-Up. We will have your favorites like our Crest signature beanies, key guy tees and baseball hats along with some brand new swag that has never been seen! We also have a variety of Crest prints which make an excellent holiday gift for that special someone or a treat yo’self item. .dean.goodwin will be on site doing Crest flash tattoos, for those of you who couldn’t get one at our closing party. See you this weekend from 2:30 to 5:30p. Remember all merch is limited and available on a first come first serve basis!

It took us some time to muster up the courage to read all of the beautiful messages left on the walls of aisle 6 at our closing party. We are also extremely grateful to our good friend Mindy () for volunteering to come in and photograph the wall for us so we can hold onto these memories forever. While reading these notes may bring a tear to our eye they also warm our hearts. Enjoy these close up, but also check out our last post where you can zoom in and look at all of the messages.

Last night we got to attend the opening of the new and improved . The food was amazing, the cocktails were delicious and the vibes immaculate. When you walk through the front doors you are greeted by old photos of Kellogg’s, celebrating its over 100 year history. It was really nice to see the new owners honoring its vibrant legacy. It was also very strange being inside a very clean Kellogg’s 😂, but very much so appreciated. We are truly honored to be one of the business memorialized on its new placemats designed by . Welcome back to Metropolitan Ave Kellogg’s! We have all missed you.

Oh and YES it is 24 hours ! Go grab a bite, they are officially open for business starting this weekend!
