✨Project Spotlight✨
This Glen Ellyn home started as a full gut renovation of a 1970s space. From the very first meeting, the client came in with a strong sense of their style and inspiration, which gave Ella the opportunity to take that vision and truly run with it.
The result is a home filled with thoughtful, custom moments at every turn.
In the kitchen, a custom hood anchors the space, while a split finish, painted cabinetry on the perimeter and a stained island, adds depth and contrast.
One of the standout moments is the office, designed with a “Ralph Lauren” feel. Rich, darker finishes paired with layered panels and moldings give the entire room a tailored, built-in look that feels both classic and personal.
And like any great renovation, it wasn’t without its challenges. A small alcove in the primary bedroom needed to function as a workspace, but with limited depth, it required a creative solution. By using shallow-depth cabinetry and building it up from the floor, Ella transformed the space into a functional secondary office without compromising the design.
It’s projects like this that show what’s possible when vision and ex*****on align.
