Slab pie is a pastry baked in a jelly-roll pan and cut into slabs like a bar cookie—or a pie bar, if you will. My grandfather was a professional baker and served pieces of slab pie to his customers back in the day. Happy Labor Day everyone. HELP WANTED: LUMBER YARD ASSOCIATE
We are looking to hire someone full/part-time to join our team at one of the busiest lumber yards around the Cadott WI area. Applicant must be a hard worker, self starter and customer friendly.
Responsibilities expected of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Providing excellent customer service while handling merchandise, unloading or loading trucks, and waiting on customers.
• Accurately building loads and assisting customers with locating indicated products and loading.
• Loading materials into customers’ vehicles or onto company delivery vehicles, after validating type and quantity based on the loading documents while taking care not to damage the goods, equipment, or vehicles.
• Developing thorough expertise related to operation of the forklifts, warehouse lifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment utilized for product movement.
• Unloading incoming freight, taking care not to damage the incoming goods or the equipment.
• Identifying product shortages and out-of-stocks and reporting to store management.
•
• Maintaining yard and warehouse maintenance in a clean and orderly condition.
You will be expected to follow any other job related instructions and to perform other job related duties as requested by management.
Physical Requirements:
• Heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, walking and standing are required for this position. Weights range from 25 lbs. to 100 lbs.
• Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather.
This position is Monday-Friday

P&B Hardware is looking to hire someone full-time who is self-motivated, friendly and a multi-tasker.

This job includes cashier, assisting customers, mixing paint, key cutting, glass cutting and working with inventory and stock. General store maintenance and cleaning along with other various tasks.

Must to able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Some experience with general plumbing and electrical is preferred but not necessary as training is on site.

This position is M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with 1/2 hr lunch...Also required is working every other Saturday from 7:00 am to Noon.
