Here's something most people don't think about when they're buying wood pellets:
Those pellets are made from wood shavings — the byproduct of sawmills and lumber operations. The mills that process those shavings into pellets are already running as hard as they can. There's no surge capacity sitting around waiting to be switched on. No mill owner is going to drop millions of dollars on new equipment to handle a few extra months of demand next winter and then watch it sit idle the rest of the year.

It's June. Winter feels like somebody else's problem.
