In this demo, we showcase the KPS DCM300LEAK leakage clamp meter, designed to help electricians distinguish real leakage currents from misleading stray signals.

Why does your RCD keep tripping even when everything seems fine? ⚡
The answer is often leakage current you can’t see.

In this video, Sergio Llorente () demonstrates how the KPS PF740 leakage clamp meter makes hidden leakage currents visible and easy to diagnose.

💡 Many electrical devices generate small, natural leakage currents. Individually they’re harmless — but when they accumulate and exceed 10 mA on a 30 mA RCD, nuisance tripping begins.

Using the PF740, Sergio measures the total leakage in the electrical panel:
🔎 Initial measurement → 11 mA
💡 After isolating the lighting circuit → 7.98 mA
✅ Faulty circuit identified — problem understood.

Leakage currents can’t be eliminated, but they must be measured, managed, and balanced to ensure electrical safety and prevent unnecessary RCD trips.
