r knives are made from Damascus Billets containing 416 layers of mixed steels and alloys to give you the best edge retention possible while still being able to sharpen your knife when needed. We buy the billets in different thickness's and sizes and cut our blades out of it, profile them, grind, heat treat and temper them. We use mostly wood but on occasion other materials for our handles. Our wood is hand selected to do the job and last a life time. Our wood is stabilized when called for to preserve and protect it. We use Cactus Juice tm brand polymers to stabilize our handles in a vacuum chamber made for this use. Likewise we hand pick our leather and sheath materials and buy only US made when possible or available. When you order or purchase a knife from us it is completely hand made, everything from stock removal to the sheath are all done in house. We will ALWAYS use a known steel in your knife, never a guess at what it might or could be.
