Cheyenne Wells Lumber is looking to fill a Full-Time Lumber Yard Team Member position.
Responsibilities:
• Provides customer service and sales, answers questions, identifies and directs customer to building materials, supplies in the yard and store.
• Cuts lumber, screening, glass, and related materials to size requested by customer.
• Operates forklift safely and effectively to load, unload and move materials in the yard and warehouse.
• Assists customer in loading purchased materials safely and accurately into customer's vehicle. Verifies load ticket to ensure accuracy with purchased materials.
• Loads product on to store delivery trucks for delivery and transfer.
• Moves materials and supplies from receiving area to yard or warehouse.
• Covers exposed materials, when required, to prevent weather damage.
• Assists with unloading deliveries as needed.
• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the yard by keeping ground free of clutter including bands, chocks and trash.
• Maintains inventory and displays within assigned area to merchandising standards by stocking, facing, straightening, and cleaning or any other task necessary to maintain appearance and salability of items.
• Complies with all company safety standards.
Requirements
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Must have current driver's license and be able to meet the driver eligibility guidelines for the Company.
Ideal candidates will be:
• Able to work independently or in a team
• Self‐motivated
• Able to lift product (variety of weights)
• Comfortable working outside in the elements – hot, cold, or inclement weather
• Experienced working in the retail and/or service industries
• Previous forklift experience is considered a plus.
Salary: $15 to $18.00 /hour

Cheyenne Wells Lumber is looking to fill a Full-Time Lumber Yard Team Member position and Truck Driver. Driver would be responsible for picking up product with trailer in city and various locations in and around Cheyenne Wells. Must have valid drivers license and have CDL or willing to get CDL.
Previous forklift experience is considered a plus.
Salary: $15 to $18.00 /hour
