Maxfield's "Hammer Down" Woodworking Custom built furniture, tables, cabinets, picture frames, cutting boards and more. Whatever your need may be. What to expect when inquiring about an order.
1.

Contact by private message or email to set up a time to go over the details of your piece. Simply send me a private message or email to inquire. I will not quote prices and details in the comments of a post.
2. We will discuss what you are wanting. Table, Bed, Barn Door, Cabinet, Book shelf, etc. You will need to know the approximate deminsions. Height, Length, Width, Depth. With some orders (Cabi

nets, Built in Shelves, etc) I will need to come out to your location to get measurements.
3. We will need to cover the Style, Color, Species of wood and Hardware desired.
4. Once I have a general idea of your need I will create a mockup in Sketchup. You will recieve a 3D image and a video of your piece in 3D form for review.
5. If there is any changes to be made you will simply notify me with the changes.
6. Once the details have been finalized I will calculate a cost for you. Prices are determined by an estimated time to build, Species of Wood and hardware used.
7. I will contact you back with a total cost. (I do require a deposit. None refundable) This covers the cost of materials which can not be returned once purchased. The balance will be due upon pick up of the finished piece. Or you can simply decline and there will be no questions asked.
8. You will be sent photos of various stages of your piece as it is being constructed.
9. Once the piece is finished you will be notified and arrangements made for you to pick up and the balance paid at this point.
10. Keep in mind I generally do not deliver. This is case by case. We want you to get your piece and in rare cases arrangements can be worked out but may require additional fees. Installation as of right now is not an option. There is always a risk involved when mounting to unknown structures. Water pipes, electrical wires and other cables are hidden behind walls and pose a risk of damage.
