Big Cabin Log & Timber

Innovative systems, products, materials, and solutions for your residential and commercial projects. https://bigcabin.com

Previously only available in an Edgewood Home, Big Cabin now offers the four, most impactful building systems in a factory-direct environment. Over the past 40 + years of designing and building for clients from Japan to Alaska, to Telluride, and seaside in Florida, we have seen many challenges and always chose to view them as opportunities. Some of these challenges took shape when listening to clients requests for something rare... something that you don’t see anywhere else. The resulting systems met those challenges and more. We perfected Schafer System’s with each new Edgewood project until we were confident that they were ready to be shared.

From vision to reality! 🏡
It's exciting to see this beautiful lakeside project coming together, and we're proud to be supplying the thermally modified wood siding for this incredible build!
One of the best parts of what we do is hearing feedback from the craftsmen working with our materials. Here's what the builder had to say:
💬 "The best package of custom materials I have ever received. Every stick is exactly matched in shape and size, resulting in absolutely zero unusable material. The material keeps its shape even after opening the unit and exposing it to the elements prior to installation."
That's exactly the kind of quality, consistency, and stability we strive to deliver on every project!
A big thank you to Bush Legacy Builders for their continued partnership and for trusting us to be part of such an outstanding build. We appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail they bring to every project, and we can't wait to see the finished result!

45 years of reputation opens doors others never see.

When you have the experience and relationships to handpick your timber, you get access to wood others simply don’t.

At Big Cabin Log & Timber, decades of craftsmanship and trusted connections make all the difference. Sometimes, the best part of building is choosing the right logs before the work even begins.

When you get to choose your pick of the litter ;) , quality speaks for itself.
