Meet Matt Morman! 👋

Matt is the youngest son of Amy and just started at Carl’s this summer. He’s currently a sophomore in high school and is already proving to be a great addition to the team.

When Matt isn’t working, you can usually find him spending time with his siblings or out fishing at the lake. He also enjoys helping his dad in the shop working on cars.

We’re excited to have Matt with us and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes! 😊

Meet Nate Kamphaus! 👋 Nate has worked part-time at Carl’s Hardware & Flooring for over five years. He’s one of the nicest and most genuine young men you’ll ever meet.

Nate is a hard worker. He recently completed the apprenticeship program at his full-time employer and spends his evenings and weekends picking up hours here at Carl’s whenever he can.

When Nate isn’t working, he enjoys raising and training show pigs. He also loves spending time with his family and friends.

Nate is a truly great young man, and we’re so lucky to have him as part of our team.

Here he is: the man, the myth, the legend, Kelley McCrate. 👋

Kelley has been working at Carl’s Hardware & Flooring since he was about six or seven years old (please don’t call any lawyers on us). His parents purchased the hardware store in 1953, and he’s been helping customers ever since. A lifelong Columbus Grove resident, Kelley says the Grove feels like “one big family.”

“I never wanted to do anything other than hardware,” Kelley shared. “I love helping people solve problems. That’s what we do here.” He also enjoys helping customers make their homes and happy places beautiful and special.

When he’s not at the store, you’ll find Kelley spending time with family and friends, often traveling to visit them. He also loves staying active through kayaking and cycling. If you’ve ever spotted Kelley sitting still for more than a few minutes, let us know. We’re not convinced it’s possible. 😄

To know Kelley is to love Kelley, and Columbus Grove is lucky to have him. ♥️

Today, we’re excited to introduce one of our team members, Dave Lamb! 👋

Dave has been a part-time member of the Carl’s Hardware & Flooring team for the past four years. After an impressive 33-year career in the hardware industry, he retired and decided to take on a part-time “fun” job here at the store, and we’re so glad he did!

Dave is a lifelong Columbus Grove resident who enjoys traveling with his beloved wife when he’s not helping customers at Carl’s.

The next time you stop in and see Dave, be sure to say “hi!” 😊 He is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, and we’re lucky to have him as part of our crew.

Say “hi” to Amy Morman! 👋

Amy has a degree in Business Management and has been with Carl’s Hardware & Flooring for nearly 18 years. She knows the ins and outs of the store as well as Kelley! If you have a question, Amy is your girl.

Amy is also a lifelong resident of Columbus Grove and loves serving the community she calls home.

Outside of work, you can find Amy spending time at the lake and making memories with family and friends, especially her husband, children, and precious granddaughter. ❤️
