Last week, Southco Poland finished its campaign. November has been recognized around the world as the month of solidarity with men struggling with prostate and testicular cancer. Through this campaign, we hope to promote men's health, emphasize importance of preventive examinations, and to encourage them to perform such examinations.

This weekend was Diwali, one of India's most celebrated festivals. Also known as the festival of lights, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

Our Pune, India team celebrated with their families and friends over a long weekend. This past week they celebrated in the office with sweet treats and traditional attire with vibrant colours.

In our Worcester, UK and Rzesow, Poland, facilities, we celebrated through information posters all about Diwali to educate our teams. We also enjoyed treats and delicious snacks like samosa.

We hope all who celebrate enjoyed this beautiful celebration.

Welcome to Inside Access, our series where we give you a peek behind the panel and into the lives of the talented team that makes Southco run!

This edition, we are delighted to spotlight Bob Wood, a member of our UK Distribution Team. Bob is our longest serving UK employee, beginning his journey with Southco exactly 40 years ago on November 7th, 1983, at our first Worcester site.

Bob continues to go above and beyond to this day, with an excellent eye for detail and quality. He is a standout in our “Save of the Month” program, which highlights employees that protect our customers from potential errors and rectify them before they leave our facility.

On top of his passion for quality and delivering results, Bob also volunteers his green thumb as our in-house gardener, keeping our plants looking beautiful!

We are thrilled to celebrate Bob and his 40 years of service, and thank him for his continued contribution over the years. Congratulations Bob!
