Crown Ace Hardware is a family-owned and operated chain that got its beginning in 1949 as a single "mom and pop" hardware store in Corona del Mar. Translated from Spanish, Corona del Mar means "Crown of the Sea." Owners Jeff Schulein and his son Mark have expanded into additional communities, and now proudly operate 17 Crown Ace Hardware stores in Orange County, San Diego County, Riverside, Yucaipa, Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Hawaii. For the 11th year in a row, Ace Hardware has been ranked the "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Home Improvement Retail Stores" according to J.D. Power & Associates (2007-2017).
