Established in 1949
Crown Ace Hardware is a family-owned and operated chain that got its beginning in 1949 as a single "mom and pop" hardware store in Corona del Mar. Translated from Spanish, Corona del Mar means "Crown of the Sea." Owners Jeff Schulein and his son Mark have expanded into additional communities, and now proudly operate 17 Crown Ace Hardware stores in Orange County, San Diego County, Riverside, Yucaipa, Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Hawaii. For the 11th year in a row, Ace Hardware has been ranked the "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Home Improvement Retail Stores" according to J.D. Power & Associates (2007-2017).

Help Us Honor a Hero—Round Up for the Ben Carlson Foundation!

This July, we're proud to support the Ben Carlson Memorial & Scholarship Foundation through our Round Up campaign. Ben Carlson was a Newport Beach lifeguard who gave his life while rescuing a swimmer. Today, his foundation honors his legacy by supporting ocean safety, scholarships, and programs that inspire courage, service, and leadership in our communities. When customers round up their purchase at the register, every penny stays local and helps make a meaningful difference. Thank you for helping us keep Ben's legacy alive, one transaction at a time.
