Omega Products International is the leader in residential and commercial stucco wall systems and finishes, high-end interior finishes, and tile/stone installation products. With state of the art manufacturing facilities, unsurpassed quality control, and a commitment to service, Omega Products has been the professional’s choice
for over 45 years. Omega Products was founded by Kenny Thompson in 1974
to provide quality stucco products to customers at his material
supply yards. Additional warehouse space was added in 1978 doubling the storage capacity
and allowing Omega to enlarge the laboratory and quality control facilities. Omega Stucco was the first product manufactured by Omega Products and it continues to be the workhorse of the housing
industry. In 1998, Omega Stucco was renamed ColorTek Premium Exterior Stucco Finish. ColorTek Premium Stucco uses the
latest cement technology and the highest quality raw materials available to create a long-lasting, durable, affordable finish. Every batch is quality controlled for consistency and performance to guarantee the best stucco finish in the industry. Omega Products continued to expand its product line to meet the needs of its customers and the building industry. Diamond Wall One Coat Stucco was introduced in 1979. One coat stucco has the appearance and advantages of traditional
three coat stucco, but with increased energy efficiency, lower labor costs, and schedule savings. Diamond Wall has become
the most widely used one coat stucco product in the Western United States. Omega Products soon began servicing markets outside of Southern California. A second facility was opened in January of
1984, when a warehouse was acquired in Bakersfield, California. The warehouse established Omega as an important part
of the building industry in the rapidly growing San Joaquin Valley and is still operating today. By July of 1986, Omega had experienced such growth in Las Vegas, Nevada, that a warehouse was acquired to properly
service the area. Shortly thereafter, the warehouse became a manufacturing facility that began producing Diamond Wall
One Coat and cement. Today, the plant has matured and produces Omega’s full line of acrylic products, including AkroFlex
and OmegaFlex acrylic stucco finishes, admixtures, bonders, and sealers. Rancho Cordova, California was the location chosen to service Northern California and opened its doors in October of
1986. Like the Las Vegas plant, it too began as a warehouse and was quickly transformed into a manufacturing facility that
currently services Northern California, Northern Nevada, Oregon and Washington. In 1988 Omega Products launched its line of AkroFlex Exterior Insulating Finish Systems (EIFS) and AkroFlex Finishes. AkroFlex EIFS can resemble traditional stucco, while offering additional energy efficiency, design versatility, weatherablity,
and durability. Omega pioneered the development of the Color Bottle System with its 100% acrylic AkroFlex Finishes and
expanded their use as a high quality finish over a variety substrates in addition to its use as a component of AkroFlex
EIFS. In 1998, Omega Products reincorporated to Omega Products International, Inc. to better represent growing customer base. Around this time, the company began to sell products in Mexico, Japan, and China. Along with those markets, Omega
Products has distribution in parts of South America and Southeast Asia. Two more innovative products developed by Omega Products were AkroTique and OmegaFlex, which were released in late
1990’s. AkroTique is a pigmented acrylic sealer designed to create a rustic, mottled finish similar to the timeless beauty of
century old plaster. AkroTique offers an “Old World” look that does not take a lifetime to create. OmegaFlex took the market
by storm in 2000. It is a lower cost, 100% acrylic stucco finish designed for use over a variety cementitious substrates. OmegaFlex offers a cost effective, upgrade over standard stucco for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. In 2001 Omega relocated their corporate offices and Southern California manufacturing plant to the current location at 1681 California Avenue, Corona, California. The 110,000 square foot, state of the art facility is equipped to accommodate company’s continued expansion and provide the best quality products and service available. The added efficiency
enables Omega Products to deliver its product line quickly and more competitively than the competition. Omega Products introduced the line of Valentino products in 2006. These high-end interior and exterior decorative plaster finishes add classic beauty to any wall. The Valentino products offer a full line of acrylic-based and lime-based finishes, including true Venetian plaster. In January 2007, Omega Products International proudly introduced their newest member to the corporate family, Siena Tile & Stone Installation Products. Siena provides a full and growing line of grouts, mortars, thin sets, crack isolation membranes, caulking, admixes, and more. In traditional Omega fashion, Siena Tile & Stone Installation Products brings
outstanding quality, excellent service, and exceptional products into the tile industry. Omega’s commitment to the industry continued in 2008 with a new facility in Colorado. In April of that year, a 100,000 square foot warehouse was purchased on 7.1 acres of property located near downtown Denver. The plant produces Omega’s full line of dry and wet products. This centralized location serves as a hub to supply not only the immediate area, but to expand Omega’s distribution east. Also in 2008, Omega founded Omega Products International (Tianjin) Co. to better service the dynamic and growing Chinese market. With many years of experience exporting products to China, Omega Products was ready to have a truly local presence. With full time staff and local manufacturing, Omega will continue to grow its presence in China and other Asian markets. Omega Products is a member in good standing with most of the major organizations associated with the industry. The Stucco Manufacturers Association (SMA), Ceramic Tile Institute of America (CTIA), Association of Walls and Ceilings International (AWCI), Construction Specification Institute (CSI), National One Coat Stucco Association (NOCSA), ASTM
International, and the Plaster Institute of California are a few of these organizations. Omega Products plays a leading role in helping these organizations set the standards for our industry. Omega Products International, Inc. is committed to customers’ satisfaction by offering the best in both products and
service. The company is proud of its role as a leader in the development of new and innovative products in the construction
industry and will continue its leadership role far into the future.
