An original since 1893! Fels-Naptha is a versatile laundry soap bar known for its stain-removing abilities and usefulness in hand-washing clothes. Often featured in homemade laundry detergent recipes, it effectively tackles tough stains and enhances cleaning capabilities.
Uses:
~ Deer repellent: Cut soap slices and hang them from plants.
~ Personal pest repellent: Bathe with the soap to repel mosquitoes, lice, and other pests.
~ Silence squeaks: Rub on squeaky door hinges and the drawer glides.
~ Household cleaner: Grate and mix with hot water to clean floors, toilets, and sinks.
~ Air freshener: Use unwrapped bars to freshen the air.

A customer brought this beautiful vintage ornament into the store today, something they recently rediscovered but can’t remember where or when they got it.

What makes it extra special? It says Robnett’s Hardware & also R.M. Wade & Co on the building.

For those who don’t know, Robnett’s was the name of our store for nearly 80 years before it was changed back to its original name, Wade Hardware from around the turn of the century. Pretty cool piece of local history hanging right here in our hands.
