Our good friend and contractor, Two Rivers of the Carolinas, www.tworiversofthecarolinas.com,recently performed a project for demolition of rock. The customer wanted to leave a lot of the rock in place. Two Rivers was able to use Da-mite Rock Splitting Mortar to presplit the rock and create a nice back wall. The picture below shows the straight line presplit and the nice back wall they provided the customer. What can Da-mite Rock Splitting Mortar do for you?

Passing thru the Atlanta airport today and stopped by the North Terminal Project where Da-mite was successfully used over the past few weeks to break rock between the parking deck and departure gate N5. Note the nice presplit wall Da-mite provided. You can still see some of the drill holes with remnants of Da-mite. Always nice to have an alternative like Da-mite in situations where you can't use explosives!

How to mix Da-mite: READ SDS, Mixing Instructions and Safety Warning Sheet Before use. Always use proper PPE: Dust Mask, Rubber Gloves that extend past the wrist, eye protection and protection clothing (+ barrier cream if needed). Know your rock temperatures before pouring into predrilled holes.
