I wanted to personally address the “Gun-Free Zone” signs that were recently placed at the entrances of the parking lots for Ace Hardware of Dade City and Ace Hardware of Zephyrhills.
We’ve heard from many of you on social media with questions and concerns about these signs, and we want to address them directly. These signs were not put up by us—they were installed by the property management company that owns both shopping centers without our knowledge or approval. We are actively working with them to find a solution.
My wife and I opened these stores to serve our neighbors and be a proud part of this community. We recently opened a third location in Plant City, and we are incredibly grateful for the warm welcome all three stores have received.
We fully respect and support the 2nd Amendment and the rights of responsible gun owners. These signs do not reflect our values or store policies.
