Just shaped the handle on the knife for the Nick Samuels Remembrance Benefit. I just have to buff the handle then Phillip and Jake can proceed with making a nice leather sheath for it.

Progress on the Nick Samuels Remembrance Benefit knife....Got the scales/liners fit to the tang of the knife. Fit is as good as can be. No gaps at all. Not bad for doing this by hand. Very pleased and relieved. The difficult part of this build is done. Next on the menu is the hand rubbed finish. I'll do that Sunday since it's supposed to rain.

Had a shortened day in the shop due to Phillip and I paying a visit to the awesome people who do our waterjet cutting. I was able to get the knife for the Nick Samuels Remembrance Benefit cleaned up on my disk sander so it is now ready for a hand rubbed finish. I also got the scales/liners drilled.
