This position conducts sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. They are responsible for maintaining current customers assigned by the company and establishing new customers within their territory.
Responsibilities –
- Servicing existing accounts and establishing new accounts in their given territory.
- Creating and committing to a plan for maintaining and developing customers.
- The representative is expected to travel to their territories for 4-5 days per month, at the expense of the company, to meet with current and prospective customers.
- Processing sales and purchases through invoicing software.
- Ensuring the product is delivered to the port or forwarding warehouse, as well as inspecting the material before it is shipped.
Requirements-
- 5+ years in construction, exports, or related industries.
- Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
- Proficient with invoicing systems or general computer literacy.
- Excellent customer service and sales ability.
- Ability to Travel one week per month.
- Familiarity with The Bahamas a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for picking up materials or loading containers.
Salary-
-$36,000/year base
-Commission is 2% revenue on existing accounts assigned ($900,000 in sales for 2022, roughly $18,000 in commission). Existing accounts become your own after 24 months with increased commission.
-Commission is 4% revenue on new accounts. ($300,000 expected in new accounts, roughly $12,000 in commission).
