🥧 Sausage, Gravy, and Biscuit Pie 🥧

Get ready to savor the ultimate comfort food experience with this hearty Sausage, Gravy, and Biscuit Pie! Tender sausage smothered in a rich, creamy gravy, all nestled beneath a golden layer of flaky biscuits. It's a taste of home in every bite!

Ingredients:
- 1 lb sausage
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 8 biscuits (pre-made or homemade)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

Directions:
1. Grab a big ol' skillet and toss in your sausage. Cook it up over medium heat until it's all nice and browned, breaking it up as you go.
2. Once that sausage is lookin' good, sprinkle in your flour and give it a good stir. Let it cook for about 2 minutes to get all friendly with the sausage.
3. Slowly pour in your milk while you keep stirring like there's no tomorrow. Crank up the heat to medium-high and let it all come to a nice boil. Then, turn down the heat and let it simmer until it thickens up, 'bout 5 minutes or so. Season it up with salt, pepper, and sage to taste. If you're feelin' spicy, toss in those red pepper flakes too.
4. Now, while all that's simmerin', preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
5. Grab a 9x13 inch baking dish and line it with them biscuits, makin' sure they're all cozy in there.
6. Once your gravy's nice and thick, pour it all over them biscuits.
7. Pop that dish into the oven and let it bake for about 25-30 minutes, until them biscuits are golden brown and lookin' delicious.
8. Serve it up hot and enjoy!
