Independence Day is a special time to reflect and be especially thankful for the great country that we live in. No matter what political party you affiliate with, what religious beliefs you have, what ethnicity or gender you are; we ALL live in a country that we should be proud to call home.
We have the privilige of being a free people and we have freedoms and endless opportunities that most people/countries don't have. Take this week to make sure to remember the men and women that paid the price for that freedom as well as the soldiers that are still deployed and away from their families so that we may still enjoy our way of life here in America that we have grown so accustomed to.
We, at K&G, will always respect our flag and we respect, honor and support our military 150%!

K&G Salvage/K&G Building Materials, Inc. started over 40 years ago when two guys decided to buy a “couple of pallets” of plywood to sell out of their basement and garage. From there it has grown into what it is today. This business was, literally, started from scratch, and built by two men who knew they were willing to provide the time and effort to make K&G a success by selling the products and items that we all need at much lower more affordable prices.

Today you can find almost anything you may need at one of our two physical K&G locations; Highway 67 in East Bend, NC and Highway 268 in Dobson, NC. We offer everything from a full line of doors and windows that can be custom ordered; all new lumber and building materials and tools; carpet and flooring; custom ordered metal roofing; nails, screws and bolts of all types and sizes; salvage type materials and items that you never thought you would find anywhere; new and used furniture, appliances, etc. The list of our inventory is, honestly, endless! And, if we don’t have it, we can probably get it for you.
