In 1962, J&B Plumbing & Heating was founded by Joseph Boticello as a residential & light commercial plumbing and heating business, based in East Hartford, Connecticut.
In 1982, Joe Modugno started as a plumbing apprentice out of high school with J&B Plumbing & Heating.
In 2003, Joe Modugno purchased J&B Plumbing & Heating and rebranded it to become J&B Mechanical Contractors, LLC
In 2023, the company became a family owned & operated company with the addition of Nico, Tom & Michael, Joe’s sons.
