FORKLIFT BATTERY TIP: When it comes to lead-acid forklift batteries, customers often request service because their batteries aren't holding a charge.
In many cases, the problem isn't the battery or the charger, rather the fact that the battery isn't getting enough time on the charger.
Lots of times, customers plug in a battery for a few hours which is long-enough for a "surface charge," but not long enough to fully charge.
If you have lead-acid forklift batteries, make sure the battery is on the charger for a complete cycle (usually 6-8 hours) and allow it time to cool once the charge is complete.
If you're having battery issues, we can test your battery's health with our battery load bank! Call us at 800.435.2449.

Three different rear-ends...all made by Toyota. 😉

If only we had a fabric loom in this photo! (Wait...what?) 🧵

Believe it or not, in addition to vehicles, forklifts, engines, batteries, stamping dies, and air-conditioners, Toyota manufactures textile machinery such as water jet looms, air jet looms, and spinning machinery. In fact, Toyota was founded with the invention of the automatic loom...cars and forklifts followed many years later.

That's your new fact for the day. We hope it comes in handy some time when you're involved in a trivia game.

Man, oh man, does this guy deserve some kudos! Our Sales Manager, Thomas Helman (better known as 'TC')!

TC is, honest-to-goodness, one of the most reliable, dependable, and hard-working individuals on the planet. His career with Williams Toyota Lift is a testament to growth; he began by scrubbing floors and helping technicians in Service, moved through Parts, and excelled as our first dedicated Customer Service Sales Rep, earning an incalculable number of Toyota awards for outstanding performance.

When he finally stepped into the Sales Manager position in 2019, he was ready to blow it out of the water—and he's done exactly that!

TC is bright, eager, creative, and views challenges as 'opportunities to shine.' He leads by example and kindness, inspiring greatness in everyone around him. He shines not only as a Sales Manager, but as a leader, husband, dad, coach, and friend. We are eternally grateful he chose to make Williams Toyota Lift the launchpad for his bright and outstanding career!

Check out this drawer from one of our technicians' toolboxes. Wow! But what's even more "wow" is that this level of organization is standard at Williams Toyota Lift.

That's because "looking for stuff" is one of the biggest time-wasters in any organization. That's why our forklift technicians adhere to the standards of "5S:" Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.

Around here, we call it "ASEC," which means that everything has a place, and everything is kept in its place.

For our customers, this high level of organization means that our forklift technicians are more efficient, more productive, and more effective because we're not wasting billable time "looking for stuff."

Give us at call at 800.435.2449 to schedule one of our highly-organized technicians to work on your forklifts.

👁️👁️ Toyota's innovative SEnS camera mimics the human eye to alert forklift operators when there are pedestrians or other hazards within their safety zone. SEnS can be added to any make or model of forklift.
If you have an application in which forklifts and pedestrians are often working side-by-side, this high-tech sensor might be perfect for you!
